About A.P.

Antarctic Press is a Texas-based company that was started in 1984. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest publisher of comics in the United States. Over the years we have produced over 1500 titles with a total circulation of over 5 million. Among our titles are some of the most respected and longest-running independent series in comics today. Since our inception, our main goal has been to establish a series of titles that are unique, entertaining, and high in both quality and profitability. The titles we currently publish exhibit all these traits, and appeal to a wide audience. Now that we have established a loyal reader base that consistently supports our titles, we feel it is time to expand into new and different markets.

We also license products for development as comic books and toys. So, whether you're interested in any of our properties, or if you just have a product that you want to merchandise...don't hesitate to ask.

FAQs

WHERE'S MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL? Antarctic Press currently doesn't send out confirmation emails. Instead, the confirmation you get from Paypal or Yahoo (if you purchase directly by credit card) will serve as your receipt and confirmation.

HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER ARRIVES?

--Within the U.S. Orders weighing less than 12 ounces (one or two books, a few CDs or DVDs) are sent by First Class Mail within North America, which takes 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS within the U.S.

Orders weighing 1-4 pounds, which includes most of our book orders, are sent by Media Mail, which usually takes FIVE BUSINESS DAYS to deliver. This means you will USUALLY get your order in about a week. However, because there are slight delays with some items--we need to restock on CDs, a book is due from the printer the following week, etc. --we ask that customers allow up to TWO WEEKS after they send in their order for it to arrive.

Larger orders, weighing over 4 pounds, are sent by UPS Ground. Delivery time will vary depending on how far from San Antonio you live.

--Canada/Mexico People living in Canada and Mexico should allow an additional week for Customs delays. For instance, for a book order weighing 1-4 pounds, a total of THREE WEEKS.

--Elsewhere Orders under 1 pound are sent by International Air Letter Post, which usually takes A WEEK for most of Europe, 2-3 WEEKS for Asia, Africa, etc.

Orders weighing 1-4 pounds are sent by Global Priority if the items ordered can fit into a Global Priority mailer. These take about as long as Air Letter Post to deliver.

Orders over 5 pounds are sent by International Air Parcel Post. These can take 2-4 WEEKS to deliver, again depending where you live.

FOR ANY DELIVERIES OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA, PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR LOCAL MAIL SERVICE AND CUSTOMS DELAYS. Depending on where you live, this could add 1-2 WEEKS to delivery time.

If you have a question about your order status, the best information you can provide us for tracking it down is the DATE you sent in the order and the E-MAIL ADDRESS you used to send it, if it's different from the address you're writing from when you contact us.

WHY WON'T GINA MARRY ME? Gina, like most comic characters, isn't real. But if you must have your friends and family make fun of you, you can just make a cardboard cutout and pay a preacher A LOT of money and then maybe you can finally marry Gina--depending on what state you live in.
